VALLEY OF LEXINGTON

Brethren,

We continue to work on and move forward with the VMAP program headed up by Rick Nation, PGM, 32° KCCH and thank him for all he has done and is doing with this program.  We need the officers of each body involved in this program to be successful. Please support this program and let’s make a difference and improve the Valley of Lexington.

We are embarking on a journey with the Valley of Covington Scottish Rite on something that has never been done before. This is a positive journey on attempting to come together as a whole to provide a Scottish Rite experience for Master Masons and to provide further light in Masonry by having a joint Scottish Rite Reunion in Pikeville, KY. This will be a one-day Reunion at Thomas C. Cecil Lodge No. 375 in Pikeville on November 5th with the Valley of Covington and the Valley of Lexington conferring and communicating the 29 degrees in honor of Ill. Fayette May 33° and Ill. Kelly Moore 33°. Master Masons can join either Scottish Rite Valley and become Masters of the Royal Secret. All candidates will receive a special Jewel from the Supreme Council for this one-day joint Reunion. We look forward to coming to Pikeville and making history by doing something that has never been done. Let’s get to work and recruit Master Masons to petition the Scottish Rite for this event.

I look forward to visiting the Scottish Rite Clubs in the coming months to support and help them in moving each Club forward. Our Scottish Rite Clubs are a valuable part of the Scottish Rite and we need the Brothers in the Clubs to attend their respective meetings and recruit membership, revise their by-laws if necessary, and come up with a way in their area to support the Childhood Language Disorder Program to help sponsor more children.

We continue to have education for our membership at every meeting in the Valley of Lexington.  Please come and join us at the Valley of Lexington on the stated meeting night to have some fellowship and enlighten your Masonic knowledge by way of our education programs presented by Brothers volunteering to engage and present the degrees and remind us of our obligations as members of the Scottish Rite.

Brethren, come and join us on the 3rd Thursday night of each month at the Lexington Scottish Rite Consistory for our stated meetings. The meal is served at 6:30 PM and bring your ladies. The stated meetings start at 7:30 PM.

Fraternally thine

Lexington Scottish Rite - Council of Kadosh Feast

On Friday, January 13, 2017, the Officers opened the 30th degree to perform the Mandatory Council of Kadosh Feast.  The officers did a great job with completing all of the Toasts of Obligation and Ill Brother Robert W. Davenport 33° did a great job speaking to the brethren and guests in attendance.
